Buying miles is another option for making your dream trip a reality. Typically, it’s not worth buying a lot of them but if you need an additional 2,000 points or so to make a trip happen, it might be worth it. Also, some airlines offer promotions throughout the year for buying miles, which can be a good option, especially for first class flights due to their high price tag.
