WHAT: A new deal is out with the Amex Small Business Gold card. It’s certainly not for everyone as it required $5000 in spending within the first 90 days of card ownership. However, it now comes with 40,000 bonus points! That’s enough for a trip to the Caribbean or Mexico!
KNOW: The annual fee of $250 is waived for the first year. If you can meet the spending requirement but don’t have a small business, just use “your name, inc” as the business name. Worked for me in the past. The 40,000 points are actually AMEX points but can be transferred to Aeroplan or many other reward programs.
